Stress is woven in our lives. It is, in itself necessary in our existence. It is however, harmful when experienced for prolonged periods of time.
3 aspects play a role on how we handle stress: 1- How we perceive a situation. 2- Our emotional resilience or feelings towards the situation. 3- Our skills to handle the pressure.

Prolonged Stress can cause physical symptoms such as: problems with the digestive system, headaches, excessive sweating, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, difficulties sleeping, etc. Prolonged Stress can also cause the person to feel more irritable than normal, more easily frustrated, generally more fearful, angrier and even depressed than their normal selves

The good news is that, skilfully applied Counselling Psychotherapy and when necessary, Hypnotherapy techniques are a truly effective means of stress management and stress reduction. You can learn more effective ways to respond in a more positive manner to the triggers of stress, reduce stress and learn how to relieve stress as it arises.
