Although counselling can be of great help to overcome life’s tough challenges, you don’t need to have a “serious problem” to benefit from counselling sessions. Many people get stuck from time to time and it helps to have a non-judgmental and understanding counsellor to support and help place experiences into a different perspective.
I practice strength-focused individual therapy with people 16 years of age and older. In counselling or therapy, you and I work collaboratively in a compassionate, supportive, and confidential atmosphere. Our work together opens space for gaining insight, understanding and developing new skills to manage personal, family and social challenges. Counselling is an effective tool to help us transform negative experiences.
As a Counsellor, my job is to support you to successfully and effectively deal with life challenges. Although Psychotherapy is not a ‘cure-all’ for every challenge; it can certainly be an effective way to enhance your well-being and work through difficulties.
